There are now two programs that convert Wordpress blogs to Drupal.

The first relates to the conversion of Wordpress 2.1/2.2 and b2Evolution 1.9 to Drupal 5.x.

The latest accounts for the conversion of Wordpress 2.5 to Drupal 5.x and 6.x (as of version 1.03).

Select the appropriate manual.

Is this the right place to

Is this the right place to ask for help? I'm trying to use the Wordpress to Drupal tool but can't seem to pass the connection test.
I've got the IP address in there and have tried a couple of different ports. No connect.
Documentation here says get the port number from the hosting co., but I'm not sure what to ask them for. What sort of connection does the tool use?
For example, I use putty to do mysql dumps and such and that uses port 22 and SSH... but I don't know what the Importer uses... telnet? Don't know much about these things.
Any help appreciated.

Edit: details I forgot to mention. I'm going from wp 2.0.2 to drupal 5.12

Edit: by Steve : moved this to the forum section.
